The Fresh Test® is a diagnostic glucose beverage intended for the screening of Diabetes Mellitus and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. Before use, confirm this product contains the correct amount of glucose for your office’s needs. Product Brochure. Specifications & Instructions For Use.
It is recommended that you follow your current Glucose Load Test protocol. The Fresh Test® Bottle – BPA Free Plastic product line will need to be reconstituted with water. Add water to the FILL LINE indicated on the bottle. Shake for three minutes or until dissolved.
Instruct your patient to consume the 50-gram glucose beverage within 5 minutes. For an enjoyable patient experience, have your patient consume the beverage cold. Take care that your patient consumes the entirety of the product within 5 minutes for accurate results. A subsequent plasma glucose measurement will be taken at 1-hour.
