Maggie
Birth Doula + Certified Lactation Counselor
A unique approach to birth doula work…
My work as a birth doula is about more than just birth support. It’s about fostering lasting relationships where families feel heard, understood, and well-equipped for the journey ahead. I take the time to truly connect with my clients, ensuring that they feel prepared not only for labor and delivery but also for the postpartum experience. My bilingual background allows me to provide culturally aligned, Spanish-speaking support, ensuring that language is never a barrier to quality, compassionate care.
With experience in a range of birth settings, from unmedicated home births to hospital inductions and C-sections, I am adaptable to every family’s unique needs. I believe birth should be a celebrated and empowering experience where the birthing person feels fully supported in their choices. My commitment is to walk alongside you every step of the way, offering encouragement, advocacy, and the knowledge to help you feel confident and secure.

Meet Maggie!
Maggie’s journey into becoming a Milwaukee birth doula began during her college studies in global maternal and child health, where she learned how important birth doulas are in improving maternal and infant outcomes. That knowledge ignited her passion, but it was her own experience with a supportive birth doula during a challenging postpartum period that truly deepened her calling to this work.
As a Certified Birth Doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified Community Health Worker, Maggie brings a well-rounded, compassionate approach to birth support. She works with families near Milwaukee in all birth settings and has experience supporting families expecting twins, inductions, and both medicated and unmedicated deliveries.
Fluent in Spanish, Maggie is proud to serve Spanish-speaking families as well!
Why I became a birth doula in Milwaukee, Wisconsin…
I believe in the inherent strength of women and the beauty of undisturbed, intervention-free birth whenever possible. I also recognize that every birth is unique, and my goal is to provide the education, advocacy, and emotional support that allow families to make confident, informed decisions. My approach blends knowledge and compassion, ensuring that each birthing person feels prepared and respected, no matter their birth plan.
My background in public health gives me a deep understanding of how birth outcomes are shaped by access to information and individualized care. I strive to create a supportive, inclusive space where every family feels safe and empowered to navigate their journey with clarity. I understand the challenges of postpartum recovery, and I am committed to offering guidance beyond birth, including lactation support and community resources to ease the transition into parenthood.
We are passionate about supporting families as they navigate their options, helping them feel informed, confident, and aligned with what matters most to them.
Families deserve care that respects their choices, honors their values, and provides the tools they need to advocate for themselves.
