Meet Maryanne!
Maryanne is a DONA-trained birth doula serving families throughout Southeastern Wisconsin, bringing nearly two decades of lived pregnancy and birth experience into her work with expectant parents!
A journey into birth work…
My own journey into birth work began at home. Through 18 years of pregnancies and births that included four hospital births followed by two home births, she welcomed six children (three girls and three boys) into her family.
Those experiences, spanning inductions, cesarean birth, water birth, medicated and unmedicated labor, shaped her deep respect for the many ways birth can unfold and ignited her passion to walk alongside others on their own paths.
A unique approach to birth doula work…
At the heart of Maryanne’s work is a simple but powerful mission: to remove fear and uncertainty around birth.
She supports birthing parents and their partners with calm presence, grounded education, and compassionate guidance.
It’s important to help you understand what’s normal, feel truly seen and heard, and approach birth as an opportunity for connection, confidence, and growth. Maryanne places special focus on mindset coaching, physical preparation, and emotional readiness, meeting each family exactly where they are and honoring their values and choices.

Outside of birthwork you can find Maryanne laughing and adventuring with her husband, kids and grandkids (Nevaeh-3, Eli-19 months, Sterling-21 months). And 2 lovable Huskies Charlie & Josie. She’s also a home baker of all things—most recently sourdough!
