Isabella is a birth doula in training who is passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, with birth and postpartum being her main focus. Her journey into birth work began because she has always felt a calling to motherhood, and she has deep respect for the strength it takes to bring life into the world. She believes that every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered during this beautiful but life-changing season.
Why I became a birth doula in Milwaukee, Wisconsin…
When she was younger, her answer to the very well-known question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” was always “A mom!” As she got older, it never changed, no matter how many times she heard “That's not a real job.” She believes that motherhood and parenthood are the most beautiful, meaningful, and challenging roles a person can take on. As she has gotten older, she has come to understand that bringing a child into this world is not just a moment in time, but rather it’s a life-changing experience that deserves to be supported, cherished, respected, and deeply cared for. That’s what led her to become a birth doula. She wants to be someone who stands alongside you and your family during one of the most vulnerable and powerful times of your lives! She desires to support you and your family during one of the most vulnerable and powerful times in your lives, offering comfort, encouragement, and strength when it is needed most.
A unique approach to birth doula work…
For years, Isabella has been told that she has a special touch with kids and babies. Something that naturally grew into a passion for supporting mothers and families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
She felt called to this work because she believes that birth is more than a moment, it’s a transformative experience that deserves to be supported, understood, cherished, and respected. She strives to create a calm, safe space where families feel seen, heard, and empowered in their choices. She focuses on meeting each family where they are, offering steady encouragement, emotional support, and personalized care that reflects their unique journey.
To her, being a doula means walking alongside families, not leading, not directing, but supporting them with trust, empathy, and a genuine love for the work she feels called to do.
